Hi! I am Janet, the creative heart behind Odelia.

Growing up, I always had a deep love for the arts and I feel most alive when bringing to life the art my mind has imagined.

In 2021, I began preserving and pressing flowers. Whether they were bouquets I received or flowers I gifted to loved ones, I hated watching them wilt and fade. I wanted to preserve their beauty as a lasting memory of the life events they represented.

My mother has had a profound influence on my creative journey. She has witnessed every chapter of my creative hand-crafting journey. In one of our heart-to-heart conversations, she shared that she, too, was deeply artistic growing up and loved all things arts and crafts. However, as the eldest child, she had to work to financially support her family and never had the opportunity to pursue her talents.

Seeing my mother, who is often my most honest critic, tell me it would be a waste not to do something meaningful with my artistic gifts deeply moved me. That moment solidified my decision to fully pursue and share my passion.

Through Odelia, I strive to share my passion in crafts and create artwork for those who also wish to hold onto their most cherished memories.
